Michelle Yelim Han is a dedicated pianist and piano teacher who shares her love of music through thoughtful instruction. Her teaching journey began in her senior year of high school, teaching neighborhood children. Drawing from 15 years of experience and a musical background from early childhood, she creates a nurturing environment where students build strong technical foundations while discovering their unique musical voice.

Growing up in a musical household profoundly shaped her approach. Her father—a classical singer, conductor, and trumpet player turned pastor—filled their home with classical music, complemented by her mother's active involvement in choir. By age 9, Michelle was accompanying church services and performing in ensembles. Immersion in classical concerts and diverse musical recordings cultivated her deep appreciation for musical artistry.

As a collaborative musician, Michelle performs with chamber ensembles and serves as an accompanist for various choirs. Her experience includes accompanying the University of Utah's A Cappella Singers & Women's Choir and serving at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Utah. Currently, she serves at Hana-El Presbyterian Church in Dublin, CA.

While pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, Michelle teaches students from elementary through high school levels at her Pleasanton studio. She organizes student recitals, coordinates community outreach events, and participates in the Music Teachers' Association of California's Certificate of Merit program.
